Peter Shalulile Strikes Again and Breaks Cameroon Hearts

Peter Shalulile, the captain of the Namibian national team, has made it a habit of scoring against the indomitable lions of Cameroon. 

With a famous 2-1 victory over a star-studded Cameroon team on Tuesday afternoon at the Dobsonville Stadium. Shalulile's goal sent Namibia to the top of Group C in their most recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.

Early in the game, Namibia got out of the gate quickly, and immediately after the end of the first half, they pressed forward.

Before the 10-minute mark, the home squad had a few chances to score goals, but the Cameroonian defense thwarted them.

Once 15 minutes had passed, there wasn't much between the two teams, but the Indomitable Lions started to assert themselves high up the pitch.

Cameroon seized control of the match by the halfway point and was increasingly dominant with the ball. With the halftime whistle approaching, Rigobert Song's team gained momentum by having up to 60% of the ball.

The first half ended with a stalemate.

The second half began quickly as Namibia was the more forward-thinking of the two teams. In the 54th minute, Peter Shalulile got another goal against the Indomitable Lions due to Namibia's pressure.

After the first goal, the Brave warriors kept the pressure on the Cameroon defense, who were nervy and committed fouls. The pressure from the brave warriors was paid a free-kick on the edge of the Cameroon box. 

Absalom Limbondi converted the free kick into a second goal for the Namibians in the 79th minute.

Cameroon managed to score a consolation goal via their talisman Aboubakar Vincent which wasn't enough as the brave warriors of Namibia took the day.

Namibia's victory over Cameroon saw them book a spot at the next edition of the AFCON to be hosted by Ivory Coast.
