FECAFOOT Announces Date for Selection Exams for Match Officials.
The Exams will be written at the various Regional Centres on May 13th,2023, from 8.00 am.
It should be recalled that FECAFOOT had embarked on the mass recruitment of match officials, a department where the country's federation was experiencing a massive shortage.
FECAFOOT had embarked on training 5000 young referees of both sexes, targeting the ages of 14 to 25. These young officials will be trained for six months at the divisional level before graduating from these schools as trainee referees.
They will then embark on a professionalization journey that will take them from amateurs to the top of the game as national referees capable of handling ELITE ONE and ELITE TWO games.
