New Cotton sports head coach Jean Baptiste Bisseck has won His first league game in charge of Coton Sport of Garoua. He guided the defending champions to a 2-1 victory against Aigle royal de la Menoua.
The Former head coach of Eding De la Lékié took over from Gabriel Haman after a poor start to the 2022/23 ELITE ONE CHAMPIONSHIP, which also saw the Club finish bottom of their group in the African Champions League, losing all six group games.
Jean Baptiste Bisseck Wins First League Game as Coton Sport Coach
Coton Sport is now up to 3rd in Group A, with crunch games against relegation-threatened Colomb Du Dja et Lobo and 2020 Champions PWD of Bamenda on the horizon.
The “cotton weavers” end their season with an away trip against Stade Renard of Melon. They will hope that Canon and UMS of Loum slip up to have a chance of finishing in one of the two play-off spots in group A.
