The most outstanding players of the month for March in the various professional leagues in Cameroon have been announced. Emmanuel Mahop of Canon de Yaounde scooped the Player of the Month award for the MTN ELITE ONE championship.
His four goals in March helped him see off competition from other contenders like Joseph APAM VIANNEY (APEJES de Mfou), Alexis YOUGOUDA KADA ( Gazelle FC de Garoua), Ako Assomo (AS Fortuna), René NZONEWO NDI (Avion Academy FC de Douala), and Serge Rodrigue KOUPIT MANI (Bamboutos FC de Mbouda).

Emmanuel's rapid rise to Cameroon football's summit has been nothing but spectacular, with the Canon forward earning his first pair of Senior National Team caps in the two AFCON 2023 qualifiers against Namibia last month.
The former Player of Akonangui FC in Equatorial Guinea is enjoying the best period of his career. Canon of Yaounde will need their talisman as they enter the business end of the 2022/23 season, sitting top of Group A.
In the Guinness super league, 24-year-old Elaine Bibout was voted Player of the Month after scoring three goals in March.
Martial Godson of Dynamo Douala received the Player of the Month award in the MTN ELITE TWO championship.
What is the Player of the Month Prize in Cameroon's Football Professional Leagues?
Prizes for Player of the Month are awarded by SYNAFOC (National Union of Cameroonian Footballers). with a take-home package of 100 000 francs for ELITE ONE and GUINNESS SUPER LEAGUE.
In comparison, the ELITE TWO winner goes home with a 50 000 francs cash price.
