The Obala-based club has been the most consistent team in the Guinness super league, and it is no surprise that they clinched the title in Style.
Playing at the Annex of the Bepanda Stadium in Douala, the Champions suffered an early setback when Authentic ladies scored early in the game. Nonetheless, Coach Stephane Ndzana's team ensured there was no mercy against the Authentic Ladies of Douala, putting 6 past their opponents. Ngha Manga Maria Gisele took her tally to 15 goals with a third hat trick of the season.
Under the watchful eyes of Club owner Honorable Luc Koa, the MTN (Manga-Tabe-Nnange ) strike partnership all chipped in to bring the trio's goals total to 40 for the season. Lekie Football Filles has now scored 60 goals in the league this season, just 6 short of the record set by last year's Champions, Awa FC.
With three games left of the season, the objective will be to beat the record of goals scored by a Guinness Super League Club. On top of that, there is the small matter of the golden boot to be settled. Marie Manga leads the way with 15 goals, followed by Nnanga (13) and Tabe Brenda (12).
