The last round of games confirmed the teams relegated to the lower division and the teams participating in the playoffs (both relegation and championship playoffs). 

Which teams have been relegated from the MTN ELITE ONE CHAMPIONSHIP?

The loser in that relegation playoff game between YOSA and Colombe will become the fifth relegated Team. The relegated teams are:

Group A:  Avion Academy FC & Rennaissance  de Ngoumou (relegation Playoff spot: Eding Sports de la Lekie)

Group B: Yafoot of Yaounde & Dragon FC De Yaounde (relegation playoff spot: Yong Sports Academy)

Which teams have qualified for the Championship playoffs?

The playoffs run from the 14th to the 21st of May, 2023, and will be played at the Douala Reunification Stadium. The qualified teams are:
Group A: Canon Sportif De Yaounde & Coton Sports of Garoua 

Group B: Gazelle FC de Garoua & Bamboutous De Mbouda

This Season saw a significant increase in the quality of games, and the entertainment value was commendable. Better pitches and a more professional organization ensured a greater public interest in the local leagues.
