Cameroonian Defender Nicolas Nkoulou has agreed to join Gaziantep FC in Turkey for the rest of the 2023/2024 season.
Transfer News: Nicholas Nkoulou Signs for Gaziantep FC
He moved to the Turkish side after spending last season with Aris Thessaloniki F.C. in Greece.
The Decision was made known in a press release signed by Cameroonian international and the president of Gaziantep FC, Memik Yılmaz.
The 33-year-old started his professional career in Monaco and has played for Olympique de Marseilles, Olympique Lyonnais, Torino FC, Watford F.C., and Aris Thessaloniki F.C. before moving to Gaziantep FC.
Nikolas Nkoulou has played for the Indomitable Lions since 2008 and was part of the Cameroon Team that won the African Nations Cup 2017. He was also part of the squad for the 2023 World Cup in Qatar.
The Veteran footballer was not part of the 24-man squad called up by coach Rigobert Song for the crucial AFCON 2023 qualification game against Burundi.
The Indomitable Lions defender will be hoping to get his career back on track after an unimpressive stint at Greek side Aris Thessaloniki where he played just 17 games all season.
