Representatives of the National Union of Cameroonian Footballers, known by its French acronym (SYNAFOC), paid a working visit to the FECAFOOT headquarters in Tsinga on Wednesday, 12th April 2023.
FECAFOOT And SYNAFOC Hold Strategic Meeting
The meeting, whose agenda was not officially disclosed, came a few weeks after roving Ambassador Albert Roger Milla appealed to the FECAFOOT President to hold consultative meetings with former players.
A post on the FECAFOOT official Facebook page said discussions between the two stakeholders were centered on issues affecting the working conditions of professional footballers in Cameroon. The issue of the suspended Canon ladies from the Guinness super league was discussed.
The President of SYNAFOC, Geremi Njitap, attended the meeting and was accompanied by Maitre Goss and Eric Menye, respectively, Secretary General and Operations manager of SYNAFOC. Also in attendance was FECAFOOT's Director of football development, Frank Hilaire Happi.
