Malkom's club Girondins De Bordeaux had put out a communique denouncing the racist attacks on their player.

"FC Girondins de Bordeaux gives its full support to Malcom Bokele in the face of racist remarks and insults against him. The club is firmly committed to this fight against racism and discrimination, particularly through its awareness-raising actions as part of its CÅ“ur Girondins commitment program."

SC Bastia, on their part, responded to what they called "accusations by Girondins De Bordeaux."

A communique from the club said:

"The club clearly and firmly condemns any form of racism or discrimination as it has always done, it explains. Nevertheless, Sporting cannot allow its image to be tarnished by ambiguous communication from Bordeaux, which would suggest players, staff members, or supporters present at the stadium have uttered racist insults. Therefore, the club reserves the right to immediately take legal action against any person implicating Sporting Club de Bastia."

We at hippoinfos.com offer full support to Malkom and declare firmly that our platform and everyone connected stand against racism and all forms of discrimination.

Bordeaux, 2nd in the classification, would be in action on Saturday, April 15th, against 4th-placed Metz in the French Ligue 2.
