After beating Napoli 4-0 in the league a few days ago, the Lombard club did it again in the first leg of the Uefa Champions League this Wednesday at the San Siro. The tie puts AC Milan one step into the semi-finals of the Champions League.

There was only one goal in this match, scored by Algeria’s Ismael Bennacer just before the break in the 40th minute of play. The loss is a significant setback for Napoli, who has been outstanding throughout the season.

Despite dominating the most half of the game, the leader of the Italian championship came up against an equally effective Mike Maignan.

The AC Milan goalkeeper was instrumental during periods of Neapolitan domination.

The return leg promises to be exciting. The match will be played next Tuesday at the Diego Maradona Stadium, home to Napoli.

Too bad Zambo Anguissa will miss it. After a second yellow card, the Cameroonian midfielder was sent off in the 75th minute.
