The encounter which was played at the Annex 1 of the Yaounde Omnisport stadium was a hotly contested with Pouma FC coming from a goal down to secure their first win at the interpools.

The encounter was a fierce one as coach Soh Simplis' looked to book a spot in the semi finals with a game to spare.

It was always going to be a tricky affair, coming up against a team who had their back against the wall.

Pouma started the game by fashioning numerous attacks,  while maintaining a possession-based approach, a tactic which seemed to unsettle the North West Regional Champions.

It was however United who drew first blood, with Daniel Song breaking the dead lock early in the first half.

Pouma FC stuck to their task and kept asking the questions of BUFA, turning the match on its head with a quick-fire double from Luke Martins, scoring in the 25th and 30th minute of play.

Bafmeng United struggled to get a foothold on the game as Pouma FC added a third through Bang Junior making it 3-1 at halftime.

Coach Simplis' halftime talk seemed to be working when Che Constantine pulled one back for BUFA, but the Littoral Champions held on to take home their first three points at this year's National interpools.
