Indomitable Lions manager Rigobert Song has unveiled a list of 24 players to face the Swallows of Burundi on September 12th in Maroua, with Andre Onana returning to the Den.
The Manchester United goalkeeper's recall headlines a roster that has some notable absences like Fai Collins, Nicholas N'kolou, and Martin Hongla.
The first two are still without a club after leaving Al-Tai and Aris Thessaloniki a few months ago.
Onana was sent home in the middle of the Fifa World Cup in Qatar and later put a pause on his International career.
Speaking to the press, Cameroon manager Rigobert Song Said, "There has never been a problem with André Onana. I had already said that everything depended on him. He knew what he had to do. If he's on the list, that means he did the right thing. Today, we are satisfied with his return.."
Onana made his last appearance for Cameroon in a 1-0 defeat to Switzerland at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
