Che Malone and his team mates received a rocious reception from fans ahead of a friendly between Simba SC of Tanzania and Power dynamos of Zambia at the Mpeka Stadium as the Tanzanians celebrated Simba Day.
The occasion which was an opportunity to unveil the Simba squad for the 2023/24 Football Season, was animated by an electric crowd as the they look to push their team to big things in the upcoming season.
The Former Coton Sport Center Back and Cameroon Intermediate Loins player Che Malone Fondoh was given a memorable presentation at Kariakoo ward in Ilala District of Dar Es Salaam Region in Tanzania.
The 24-year-old signed a two-year deal, worth over USD100 000, the biggest transfer fee for a Coton Sports defender in over 20 years.
Malone has been one of the standout players in the MTN ELITE ONE CHAMPIONSHIP, Cameroon's topflight over the past few seasons.
His move to Simba SC in July 2023 was testament of how far the Bafut-born defender has come since his humble days playing in muddy pitches around the Bamenda and Buea neighborhoods.

Simba SC was ranked Africa's 7th biggest Club, following a CAF ranking earlier this year.
Speaking to the press conference August 5th 2023, the former Coton Sports Captain said he is proud to be part of an ambitious team for the upcoming 2023/24 season.
"I'm happy to be part of the squad and I have planned to make sure I put in my best whenever I get a chance to play" Molone said.
While in Cameroon, Che Malone played for Coton Sport of Garoua, Union Sportive of Douala, and Continental FA, where he gained the nickname "Wall of Jericho".
Wall of Jericho it is then, as the Tanzanians dispatched their guests 2-0, with Malone keeping a clean sheet and fellow compatriot Willy Onana opening the scoring.
Malone donned the colors of the Cameroon National team during the 2021 edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN), putting up a series of solid displays.
His progress has not gone unnoticed, and a first Senior National Team Call up may be around the corner.
