ANALYSIS: How ISOHSA Qualified For The ELITE TWO CHAMPIONSHIP!

Bafmeng United overcame a solid Volcan du Noun side after 120 minutes at the Yaounde Ngoa Ekele Stadium on Thursday, triumphing 2-1 in a highly contested game.

ISOHSA, on their part, made light work of  Pouma FC, with Tiku Egbe Scoring two first-half goals to take the South West Representatives into the ELITE TWO.

How Did ISOHSA Qualify For The ELITE TWO CHAMPIONSHIP!

Isle Of Hope Academy Of Limbe qualified for the National Interpools as Champions. 

A young and ambitious team, ISOHSA, came to this competition with big plans, clearly stating that their objective was ELITE TWO qualification.

True to their word, ISOHSA sailed through the group stages unbeaten, recording the highest winning margin of the 2023 Interpools when they Obliterated Sporting FC of Maroua 5-0. 

In fact, the Limbe-based team swept everything in their way, claiming the tournament title with a comfortable 2-0 win over fellow promoted side Bafmeng United.  

ISOHSA finished the competition as top scorers (13 goals) and conceded just 3, the lowest of any team.

Who else to start with if not the tournament's revelation, the very talented Albert Tiku Egbe. The 20-year-old Prodigy lighted up the Interpools, putting up a string of mesmerizing performances worthy of seasoned professionals.

Tiku Egbe finished the competition as the top scorer with 5 goals, including a brace in the semis and the opener in the showpiece game against Bafmeng United. 

His all-round performances from midfield earned Him the best player award.

Team Captain Ashu Brian also put in some excellent performances as he marshaled the middle of the park chipping in with a couple of goals himself. 

Center back Kingsley Tebug was a rock at the back, syncing well with the rest of the backline and stepping into midfield to break up play or initiate attacks. 

There were top performers around this ISOHSA team as coach Nlend Ayme looked to showcase the ball-playing philosophy worthy of a Football Academy. 

ISOHSA looks the more settled of the two teams, and a few additions to their ranges can see this young team challenging for the top places in the ELITE two next season.
