How Did Bafmeng United Qualify For The ELITE TWO?

Bafmeng came to the interpools as champions of the Northwest Regional League, a League which was hailed by many as the best regional League in the country, despite its late start and near-inexistent infrastructure.

Drawn in group B, alongside Littoral Champions (Pouma FC), East Regional Champions (Olympique Biwong Bane), Adamawa Champions (Ngoundere FC), and North Regional Champions ( Krimi de Garoua), BUFA emerged group winners with 9 points, recording three wins and one defeat.

But it is sheer grit and determination that set the Northwest team apart.

Bafmeng United Key Players

Veteran goalkeeper and team captain Ngam Franklin made headlines once more, making use of his experience and leadership qualities; leading in an exemplary fashion from the back, he made some vital saves which were to BUFA's EliteTwo qualification.

Ngong Livinus played his part chipping in with important goals along the way, and so too did talisman Enah Ashu, whose three goals put him in contention for the golden boot going into the final game of the competition.

It is very clear that the owners will do some much-needed recruitment as the team prepares for their first-ever campaign in Elite football.

Whatever happens between now and the next season, coach Soh Simplis and his boys have shown that with grit and determination, even the most ambitious objectives are attainable.

Good luck to the Ndeghum Spear as they prepare for their new Challenge.
