NWRFL: Bang Bullet FC on The Edge of National Interpools as They Qualify For Regional Finals

The Regional final ticket came after a shocking 3-nil first-leg win over Hilltop Stickers FC of Bamendakwe, putting coach Ngwa Remy and his boys in a tight position for a possible comeback in the second leg.

With experience and zeal, Coach Dominique's Nkambe boys were able to outshine the attacking skills of Hilltop FC to seal a one-all draw in the second leg, 4-1 on aggregate.

Bang Bullet's Journey to The Final

Bangbullet is one of the teams which were constant in the lips and hearts of the North West fans. Spotted in their White and red Jerseys and holding the faith of the people of Nkambe, Coach Dominique's boys were responsible for making the fans in Bamenda and Nkambe proud.

Like their upcoming opponents Bafmeng United FC, Bang Bullet was placed in group B alongside Nso United, Options Sports FA, Benakuma FC, and Regional league newcomers Grace of Hope FC.

Bang Bullet finished the group stages undefeated and at the top of Pool B with 13 points (4 wins, 1 Draw, 0 defeats).

They moved to the Quarter Final stage against All Stars FC. Coach Dominique's boys blew away their opponents with a 5-2  win in the first leg, finishing the job a few days later, with a 1-nil second-leg win, to qualify for Semi-finals, 6-1 on aggregate.

Bang Bullet made light work of pre-tournament favorites, Hilltop Strikers of Bamendakwe, as they registered a convincing 4-1 aggregate win over their opponents to qualify for the Northwest Regional showpiece.

What is Next For Bangbullet?

Bang Bullet faces Bafmeng United in the final and will be eager to portray the same dominance they showed in previous stages of the competition.

They will enter the finals as huge favorites, but Bafmeng United is no pushover. Bafmeng United beat Tubah United 3-1 to qualify for the final.

The Final of the NWRFL is scheduled for Sunday, 9th of July 2023, at the University of Bamenda Sports Arena. The final is expected to be a crowd-pulling event for football lovers from the City of Bamenda and the Northwest.

Hippoinfos.com will give live updates of the match and events before, during, and after the Regional showpiece.
