Bamboutos Bounces Back While Canon Sportif of Yaounde were Humbled
Bamboutos de Mbouda 3 - 0 AS Fortuna
After last weekend's defeat in Douala, against Union de Douala (3-2), Bamboutos of Mbouda got back on track in the most beautiful way against AS Fortuna de Mfou on match day four.
The Mangwas boys, as they are fondly called, trashed AS Fortuna (3-0) in front of their home supporters.
A victory that represents the second in four matches for the team that finished Cameroon's vice-champion last season.
Astres of Douala 2 - 1 Canon Sportif de Yaoundé
At the same time, Canon Sportif of Yaounde was humbled in Douala at the hands of Astres de Douala.
As they are fondly called, Kpakum (Canon Sportif) recorded their first defeat of the season.
The Brazilians of Bépanda (Astres de Douala) won (2-1), thanks to goals from Mbah Ndjock and Armand Kooh.
This was a bad result for the Yaoundé based club, which still maintains the ambition of winning the MTN Elite One title.
