The Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, has sanctioned several match officials following numerous crucial officiating shortcomings.
FECAFOOT Sanctions Nine Match Officials!
A communique dated 30th March 2022, signed by the President of the Arbitration Chambers, indicated that these match officials have been suspended from handling ELITE ONE and ELITE TWO games until the end of the current season.
The reason for suspending these referees and assistant referees is due to aggravated incompetence in officiating League games.

Worthy to note that numerous accusations of Match fixing and complacency have rocked the Cameroon professional football leagues. This Disciplinary action by the Federation has been welcome by football players, club officials, and fans as a step in the right direction.
