South West representatives ISOHSA played a zero-all tie with Union Sportif of Abong Mbang, while Volcan of Noun edged Academie Nyom II of the Center region 1-0 in an exciting game under the lights at the Ngoa Ekele Stadium.

After completion of  Regional Football Leagues from all ten Regions of Cameroon, finalists automatically qualified for the playoffs and were distributed into 2 groups of Five teams each.

Group A

  •  North Region - Sporting FC Of Maroua
  •  West Region - Volcan FC De Noun
  • South West Region - ISOHSA Limbe
  • Center - Academie Nyom ll
  • East Region - Union Sportif D'abong-Mbang.

Group B

All clubs in the same group will face each other, and the top two will advance to the tournament's next stage.

So, can the North West and South West teams do the business and book a spot each at the Elite Two Championship next season?

1. Isle of Hope Sports Academy (ISOHSA)

ISOHSA of Limbe has been touted by many as dark horses of this year's Interpools. The Club, created in 2015 and moved up to the regional League in 2017, has had a great run this season.

In 16 league matches, Coach Nlend Anye's boys recorded 11 wins, 2 draws, and only 3 defeats, shutting out opponents 9 times while scoring a total of 32 goals.

After falling at the quarter-finals of the Mini-Interpols last year, captain Achu Brice and his teammates went in for a spectacle this season, which may lead to a possible spot at the MTN Elite 2 Championship.

ISOHSA's midfielder Albert Tiku is a player to watch during the Interpools.

His skills in the midfield earned him the Man of the Match award in the Quarterfinals, Semi-Finals, and Finals of the South West Regional League.

ISOHSA beat Kumba City FC 1- nil to sail through to the Playoffs.

2.  Bafmeng United Football Academy (BUFA)

Bafmeng United swept everything in their way and won the mini-interpools to qualify as representatives of the North West Region.

The state of Stadiums in the North West may be questionable and one of the obstacles to the success of the team, but this does not reduce the chances of Bafmeng United FC.

A team that Qualified as 2nd in their group with 9 points and went ahead to win the league with an unbeaten streak is surely a strong contender for the Elite Two spot.

Bafmeng FC went ahead to Defeat Bangbullet of Nkambe at the Finals of the league to gain a spot at the national Interpools.

Bafmeng United FC got the Loin share of awards at the close of the regional league season.

Soh Simplis was named best coach, Ngam Leonard best goalkeeper, and Man of the Match of the mini-inter pools final went to Bengal Parker.
