Essomba Onana And Che Malone Bag First Trophy in Tanzania after Simba SC Beat Young Africans in Curtain Raiser.
The youngsters played an active part in the 3-1 post-match penalty shootout victory over arch rivals Young Africans to earn their first trophy at their new club.

Che Malone put up an assured performance at the heart of the Simba defense alongside Kennedy Juma.
Essomba Onana on his part, was instrumental in attack throughout the game, eventually putting away his spot kick in the penalty shootout against the reigning Tanzanian Champions.
Both Players showed-off their trophy on Instagram and Twitter, with pictures from their hotel rooms.
Leandre Onana and Che Malone who joined Simba SC in the off-season helped their new team to win a record tenth Tanzanian community shield Trophy.

The Simba faithful will be hoping their team can keep up this winning mentality as they look to reclaim the Tanzanian title this season.
Simba SC kicks-off their season in the Ligi Kuu Bara with an away game to Mtibwa Sugar on the 17th of August ,2023 as they look to improve on the second place finish achieved last season.
