The Franco-Cameroonian, who has also played for Angers and Bastia, earned a transfer to Ligue 1 club FC Toulouse on July 21, 2023.

He has made 7 appearances in League 1 this season, with two goals to his name.

The Agen-born forward also played in Toulouse FC's Europa League game, providing the assist for his team's lone goal in the 1-1 draw with Union Saint Gilloise.

Frank Magri's Play Style

Frank Magri operates principally as a center-forward and is comfortable with both feet.

He is a traditional number 9 who loves to be at the end of attacking play (a bit like Vincent Aboubakar).

At 178cm, Frank is a surprisingly very mobile attacker capable of initiating the press and can hold up play quite impressively.

Tom Ducrocq, Frank's former teammate at Bastia, had this to say about the attacker:

"He's a complete attacker; he can do just about everything; he can go deep, sprint and press... So he's helpful in the build-up, transitional phases, and ball recoveries.

"His strongest point is his finishing; it takes him very little to finish, and he has an incredible shot quality at a very high level. If he is spared from injuries, he can do great things".

Frank made 78 appearances in Ligue 2 with 30 goals and 7 assists to his credit.

With AFCON 2023 on the horizon, Coach Rigobert Song will be hoping that the 24-year-old can offer some options for his aging attacking line.

Cameroon faces Russia and Senegal on the 12th and 16th of October, respectively, with the Cameroon Coach calling twenty-four players for the penultimate FIFA International break of the year.
