The fixtures of the 2023/2024 Season of the Cameroon Professional Female Football League has been released with defending Champions LEKIE FF pitted against Authentic Ladies in the opening game.

The fourth season of the Guinness Super League will kick off on 14th October 2023.

The decision was made public alongside the 2023/2024 season fixtures by the organizing body of the Guinness Super League headed by FECAFOOT's first vice President Celine Eko.

Match Day One Games to Watch

This year's competion will  run for six months (October 2023 to April 2024) with 12 teams in the mix.

North West Division Two Champions and newly promoted Guiness Super League team Ita Mbong FC of Nkambe will face 2022 Guinness Super League winners AS Awa. 

Fellow newbies DJa Sports Academie Filles plays against Eclaire de Sa'a.

The first day of competition will include a total of six  games which will be played in stadiums in Yaoundé and Douala.

The 2022/2023 season's Guinness Super League champions LEKIE FF will face Authentic Ladies FC, who finished fourth in the league previous year.

The reigning champions will be poised to start their title defense with a win while Authentic Ladies will be looking to make a positive start under new Coach Hassan Ibrahim. 

The man who guided Awa FF to Guinness Super League Glory 2022 , left the Yaoundé-based Club after they failed to make it to the CAF Women's Champions League sub Regional playoffs in Equatorial Guinea

The last time these two teams met LEKIE FF thrashed Authentic Ladies 6-2 to clinched their first ever Guinness Super League title back in August 2023.

What is the Prize Money For The Guinness Super League?

The Winners of Cameroon's Prestigious Women Championship for the 2023/2024 Season will bag a cash Prize of 10 million CFA francs and a ticket to represent Cameroon at continental competitions next year.

It is worth noting that Cameroon failed to send representatives to the Sub Regional tournament this year due to Logistics-related issues. 

Defending Champions Lekie FF will be starting the competition as favorites alongside usual suspects like AS Awa, Elaire de Sa'a and Amazone FAP.
